Class 1/Class 2 Driver

Pay Rate: £38,344.02Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - usually starting at 6am (can start between 4am-8am)Location: Wakefield - WF3 1SPDHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Driver/Drayperson to play a vital role in our distribution service.WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will: Multi-Drop delivery to pubs and clubs, between 4-20 drops per day carried out in 1 or 2 trips dependent on the volume Manual handling required - you will be required to unload at customer sites (mainly kegs of beer), delivering down flights of stairs, to cellars Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?We'd love to hear from you if you have the following experience but don't hesitate to apply if you don't tick every box on this page - we're great at spotting talent and potential in everyone: You will hold either a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card or a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card Must have at least 6 months recent experience driving either a Class 1 or Class 2 HGV WHY CHOOSE US?
