About the Role: As a Computer Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the digital age. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire a love for computer science. Responsibilities for a Teacher of Computer Science: Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Computer Science to students at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum and school standards. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Support students in developing their technical and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment. Requirements of Computer Science Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Prior experience in teaching computer science or a related subject is essential. Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships within the school community. Deep commitment to helping students succeed, demonstrating patience and empathy. Relevant qualifications or training in computer science education (desirable but not essential). Why Join Us?
