Job Title: Site-Based Air Conditioning Engineer Location: Newcastle Salary: £38,000 per annum + Van + Fuel Card (personal use) Hours: 40 hours per week Oncall: 1/7 - extra £1200 per annum - all oncall at time and a half About the Company: We are a leading Global Facilities Management (FM) company, delivering top-tier services across commercial and industrial sites. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team at a prestigious commercial site in Newcastle. The Role: As a Site-Based Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a range of air conditioning systems at our large commercial site in Newcastle. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and functionality of the site's HVAC systems, responding to planned maintenance as well as reactive service calls. Key Responsibilities: ? Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems (splits, VRV/VRF, chillers, etc.) ? Diagnose and repair faults to ensure systems are operating efficiently ? Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations ? Maintain accurate records of work carried out ? Provide exceptional service to the client, ensuring minimal disruption to site operations ? Liaise with the Facilities Management team to schedule maintenance activities Qualifications and Experience: ? NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (essential) ? F-Gas certification (essential) ? Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a commercial setting ? Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently ? Excellent communication and customer service skills ? Full UK driving license (essential) What's On Offer: ? Competitive salary of £38,000 per annum ?
