Plant Manager - Anaerobic Digestion

Astute's Renewables team is partnered with one of the UK's leading renewable energy providers, who own and run a portfolio of anaerobic digestion plants and composting sites. They are looking to recruit a hands-on Plant Manager for their site in North London. The Plant Manager plays a vital part in ensuring the site is running at its optimal level and ensuring high standards of health & safety are maintained. The role comes with a salary of up to £57,500 + bonus, company van and excellent benefits package. Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Area Manager you will: Optimising process plant operations Managing feedstock processing and planning Weekly and monthly reporting of plant efficiency, trends and analysing data Providing solutions to technical variances Site maintenance and coordination of PPM Managing external contractors when necessary Drafting RAMS and being accountable for HSE Managing the relationships with external bodies, such as the Environmental Agency Managing on site colleagues, such as Operators and Engineers Capable of first line mechanical maintenance and raising more complex faults to an on-ca Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, such as chemical or mechanical is an advantage WAMITAB AD is hugely desirable Mobile Plant (telehandler, loading shovel) licence or time served experience Full UK driving Licence Personal skills The Plant Manager role would suit someone who is: Experienced at a managerial or supervisory level with anaerobic digestion or a similar waste processing environment Hands on a leads by example Excellent computer literacy A mentality towards a continuous improvement and a genuine passion for the industry Salary and benefits of the Plant Manager role Salary of up to £57,500 plus outer London weighting allowance Company bonus Company Van Private Medical 25 days holiday, plus Bank Holiday Other benefits discussed at interview ???????INDREN Astute Technical Recruitment Limited are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
