Job Overview: My client is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to become a vital part of their Sales Support team within the broader sales department. In this role, you will manage inbound sales inquiries, provide essential support to the external sales team, and deliver top-tier customer service. This position offers excellent growth potential into a customer-focused, solutions-driven sales role, aiming to boost proactive sales activities and improve team efficiency. Key Responsibilities: CRM Management: Maintain an up-to-date CRM system with regular customer updates. Reporting: Provide my clients management with insights on quote numbers, market trends, and sales opportunities, and present these in weekly sales meetings. Cross-Department Communication: Foster positive communication with all internal teams, including service, technical, purchasing, and finance. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the external sales team and account managers to develop sales opportunities, ensuring seamless interaction with the sales orders team for processing customer purchase orders. Upselling & Lead Generation: Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services, and generate leads through proactive outbound sales calls. Quotation Generation: Raise customer quotations in line with my clients pricing policy using SAP CRM, and actively follow up on all sales quotes. Inquiry Analysis: Efficiently analyze and distribute incoming calls, emails, and inquiries accordingly. Inbound Sales Management: Answer and process inbound calls and emails, ensuring customer inquiries are handled promptly and professionally. Requirements: Passion for Sales: A strong desire to develop a career in a fast-paced sales environment. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. IT Proficiency: Competency in Office IT functions such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. ERP System Experience: Experience working with ERP systems is preferred, especially SAP (full training will be provided). Autonomy & Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Desirable Qualifications: Technical Understanding: Ability to read technical drawings, and an understanding of mechanical and/or electrical equipment. Industry Knowledge: Experience in online selling, and knowledge of marine, industrial, or construction industries.
