DCT Recruitment have an exciting opportunity to join our client as BMS Engineer to join our team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project. Responsibilities: Managing the subcontractor to ensure the works are completed in line with the project documentation. Reviewing of the shop drawings and coordinate with other departments to ensure full functionality of the system. Coordinating the material flow as per site schedule. Supervise installation of BMS hardware and software ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards. Supervise system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the commissioning phase. Coordinate project documentation, including as-built drawings and operation manuals. Work closely with construction manager, contractors, and other related departments as well as attending project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and prepare required reports. Ensure all BMS installations comply with relevant health and safety regulations and stay updated on changes in building codes and BMS technologies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related discipline. Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering) would be preferable. Membership in professional bodies such as the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) or the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) would be preferable. Understanding of HVAC systems, lighting controls, and energy management systems. Previous experience 5-8 years in building management systems. Experience working on construction sites and understanding site safety practices. Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. CSCS site qualification.
