Motorsport Composite Trimmer required to join a luxury automotive brand based in Towcester on a permanent basis, offering a competitive salary of £50,000 + Night Shift Premium. Our client is a renowned British Luxury Car Manufacturer with an official Formula 1 presence. Through its participation in Formula 1, they aim to compete at the highest level, striving for podium finishes and championship success while embodying the spirit of British engineering and craftsmanship. We are looking for an experienced Motorsport Composite Trimmer who is seeking an EXCITING opportunity to showcase their skills and be part of a dynamic team sharing a passion for racing and a hunger for competition. Key Responsibilities of the Motorsport Composite Trimmer: Trimming, assembling and bonding of composite components and assemblies to an excellent standard and to a set production schedule. Proficient use of hand and air tools to achieve objectives. Perform visual and structural repairs to composite components. Performing TPM on tools and equipment within the Composite Trim department. Successfully meeting challenging and demanding deadlines. The ability to multitask whilst remaining organised and focused. Maintaining consistent high standards. Being proactively aware of Health and Safety requirements and ensuring they are met. Dealing with technical challenges as and when they arise and know when to seek assistance if unsure. The successful Motorsport Composite Trimmer must have the following attributes – Extensive experience of composite trimming, fitting, bonding and assembly, ideally in Formula One, other motorsport or the automotive industry. An ability to understand and interpret technical engineering drawings, assembly instructions and CAD operations for viewing. Excellent manual skills and ability to work with hand/air tools. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. A methodical and thorough approach to work. Work well under pressure to meet time critical deadlines. Have a flexible attitude to working hours where required.
