Our client - a UK fuel supply business - is looking for a candidate that is interested in developing the growth of a relatively new company into new markets.


The role will require a lot of self-motivation and drive. But with that comes an opportunity to develop in a way you see fit, providing it benefits the business. Being an open team they are happy to look at all business propositions to test their feasibility.


The company benefits from accounts with most of the main importers and terminals across the UK, as well as their own terminal that will give the company competitive rates on certain products. They operate their our own fleet of trucks and a network of third-party hauliers to offer a flexible and reliable delivery service.


They are now looking to bring in the right candidate to expand their markets and product ranges.


Roles and responsibilities to include:


  • Develop Bulk Fuel Sales to the Commercial, Industrial and Distributor Markets. Fuels to include Diesel, Gas Oil, HVO and Kero. Open to any other fuels and markets that make commercial sense.
  • Work with the Commercial Team to develop alternative greener fuels.
  • Work with the Head of Commercial and Transport Manager to optimise sales and transport efficiency.
  • Daily Pricing and Negotiations with customers, securing daily sales.
  • Ensuring the end to end sales process is followed, from time of booking to delivery to payments being received.
  • Effectively Managing Key Accounts, with regular visits.
  • Build and attend an annual calendar of events for networking and lead generation.
  • Develop and Manage relationships with key suppliers to lock in low prices and secure supply.
  • Accurate and timely order entry and account management in Fuel Soft.
  • Effective reporting from Fuel Soft, with the ability to interpret and present data to management.
  • Experience in managing others, with the view to build a team in the long run.


Location: Part Field Based and Part Office Based


Regions: North West/Mersey & Midlands (Dependent on Experience and Accounts)
