Job description First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Manual Turner to join an established and growing company in the Fife region. Our client is an international defence manufacturer. What's on Offer: Temp (probation) to perm after 12 weeks Paying £18 per hour while under temp (probation) through agency Paying circa £16 per hour once permanent 39hr work week 4.5 day work week 7am to 4pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 1pm Fri OT 1.5x This role will report directly to the Workshop Manager, manufacturing defence based components. Duties will involve the following: manual turning of components in the workshop reading design and assembly drawings making use of power toolsEssential skills, experience and knowledge: The successful candidate must have: experience of manual turning and lathe operation experience operating in a workshop environment experience of reading engineering drawingsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving business, who can offer long-term stability & career progression for the right candidates.
