Electrical Installation and Commissioning Supervisor

Norwich based contracting role for an Electrical Installation and Commissioning Supervisor. Your experienced in the installation and commissioning of electrical and electromechanical equipment on onshore and/or offshore substations at construction sites, fabrication yards and/or offshore. Bring your mix of skills to this long term, outside IR35 contract. You will be Supporting the commissioning manager, by reviewing of the outfitting, electrical installation, test, and commissioning schedule for the offshore windfarm. Coordinate site activities and work and collaboration based on the schedule. The Supervisory requirements are • Low voltage systems experience: Installation and commissioning of low voltage electrical distribution systems, both AC and DC, incl. UPS’, generators, and selectivity. • Mechanical and automatic safety systems experience: Installation and commissioning of climate control systems, cranes, hoists, and automated fire safety systems. • High voltage AC systems experience: Installation and commissioning of high voltage transformers, >66 kV gas insulated switchgear, and high voltage protection systems. • High voltage DC systems experience: Installation and commissioning of high voltage transformers and converters, >66 kV gas insulated switchgear, and high voltage protection systems. • High voltage cables experience: HV cable support systems, and >66 kV cable pulling, cleating, terminating, connecting, and testing. • SCADA & Communication experience: Installation and commissioning of communication networks, station control systems, telecommunication systems, and related cable types like fibre optic, coax, etc. • Have a completed degree or vocational training within electrical or marine engineering. • Speak, read, and write English at advanced level. • Excel at establishing and maintaining good collaboration through acknowledging communication with stakeholders.
