Our care home, Glebelands Care Home , have an exciting new vacancy for a Estates Supervisor As the Estates Supervisor, you will; Management of the maintenance department ensuring ‘Programmed Preventative Maintenance’ is implemented effectively and efficiently ensuring compliance with legislation at all times. In conjunction with the company Health and Safety Manager, implement and manage Health and Safety throughout all sites and ensuring compliance and governance is met throughout. Ensure all buildings are protected against fire with suitable protection systems and adequate firefighting equipment. Ensure tests/drills are carried out, the systems maintained with the exception of Academy House. Monitor and manage general upkeep of the buildings and day to day maintenance issues. Ensuring the Property Advisor is kept abreast of the schedule of planned maintenance work. Manage grounds contractors to ensure the entire site is presented to a high standard. Effectively manage service contracts. Carry out weekly site inspections and to document any works found being assigned to the maintenance team, or contractors where necessary. To be the first point of contact for residents in relation to property matters on Glebelands & Academy House Estate and provide advice with guidance from Property Advisor as required. Respond and deal with resident enquiries and complaints concerning property maintenance at Glebelands Estate. Be the first point of contact for property and day to day matters and ensure all rooms are presented in a high standard and in full working order with the required equipment in place. Assist the Property Advisor to support the proactive and reactive management of resident safety. Attend periodic resident meetings and meetings for The Broccoli Cloister, Stable Court and The Cottage.
