Location: Newham, East London Position: Reception/Year 1 Teacher Start Date: January 2025 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Are you a passionate and dedicated Classroom Teacher, eager to create a positive foundation for young learners? We are seeking an enthusiastic Reception/Year 1 Teacher to join our friendly and inclusive team. About the Role: As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a rich, engaging curriculum that meets the developmental needs of each child. You will work closely with our supportive team to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child feels valued. Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS/KS1 framework. Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Support children's social and emotional development, fostering independence and positive behaviour. Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to monitor and assess each child's progress. Implement best practices to meet the diverse needs of all learners.What We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status with a specialisation in Early Years or equivalent experience. Proven experience teaching in EYFS/KS1, with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. A warm and caring approach with a passion for working with young children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with parents and caregivers effectively.
