Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer required for a manufacturing company who specialise in industrial containment solutions based in Livingston. The ideal candidate will come from a Mechanical and Electrical background and currently be working in a similar position.

Maintenance Engineer Job Overview

• Maintenance and repair of all production plant equipment.
• Electrical Installations / upgrades / remedials.
• Responding to unplanned repairs and breakdowns
• Monitoring, fault diagnosing and repair of equipment.
• Undertaking preventative maintenance tasks on manufacturing & facility equipment.
• Assisting in the planning of scheduled maintenance.
• Provide support to Sales, specifying and obtaining costings for, Heating, Lighting, A/Cs as required.
• Produce BOMs for Production Electrics as required.
• Travel as required for nationwide projects.
• Participate in 24-hour emergency call out service and be available to carry out emergency repair work on site.

Maintenance Engineer Job Requirements

• Clear understanding of H&S regulation and safe systems of work
• Knowledge of electrical/ mechanical installation and production machinery maintenance.
• City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent City & Guilds qualification)
• 17th or 18th Edition of BS7671
• Occasional Site Working / Shift Working

Maintenance Engineer Salary & Benefits

• 35,000 - 45,000 (dependent on experience)
