Fortis are working with a leading civil engineering consultancy to search for a dynamic associate director to join their office in Liverpool. This position sits within a well established team that are looking to expand. The team is in the highway and rail structures division and you would be under the direction of a director. The associate director will support the development of a business pipeline as well as securing that wok. You will manage the delivery of projects which will include monitoring workload and programmes, review deliverables, support and give guidance on technical and non-technical elements of projects. The main aspects of the work are * Team management * Business development * Supervising the preparation / execution of inspections, assessments, feasibility studies, scheme design, design calculations, preparation of contract documentation and specifications. If you have a working knowledge of Eurocodes and DMRB that would be an advantage. We are looking for candidates to have chartered engineer status and a proven background in managing teams. The company operate on a hybrid working model, but there is access to the office if you prefer to be in everyday. We are considering candidates that are currently at an associate director or principle level.
