Role: Senior Python Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000
A London based retail technology scale-up has an opening for a Senior Python Engineer to join their development team.
The company is at the forefront of the retail sector developing hardware and software that integrates with IoT to deliver a seamless retail experience. They are looking for a Python Engineer with experience programming single-board computers or developing Python scripts to communicate with electronic hardware.
The Key skills they are looking for are:
- 5+ Years experience in Python programming
- Experience writing code to run on hardware systems
- An understanding of communication protocols would be highly advantageous (MQTT, RS232, RS485)
They are offering a salary in the range of £60,000 - £75,000 and operate on a hybrid basis which changes week to week due to testing requirements of the system but generally is about 50:50 split with an office based in East London.
