Air Conditioning Engineer

As our Air Conditioning Engineer, you’ll support the continued growth of the business by providing reactive and planned maintenance services in the area as well as support larger scale projects. Hours of work are generally Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30, but flexibility will be needed for start and finish times, out-of-hours working, and an on-call rota. We are a reactive facilities maintenance business so no two days will be the same. That means, there will be times when you'll need to work extra hours to meet our customers' needs. Air Conditioning Engineer Duties: * Carrying out planned maintenance tasks (PPMs) * Complete emergency reactive calls that are logged, to a high standard which assists us to achieve our first-time fix aspirations. * Complete site surveys as and when required * Undertake out of hours works via shift patterns as required including on-call duties. * Diagnosing and fixing HVAC equipment breakdowns. * You will also be expected to work as part of an on-call rota to cover out-of-hours emergencies (circa 1 in 10 weeks) and there may be occasions when you'll be asked to work outside your core discipline to support other teammates Our ideal Air Conditioning Engineer: * F Gas Category 1 * NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning * Experience working on a range of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment including VRVs, VRFs, Splits, and Chillers * Working knowledge of building regulations * Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations regarding maintenance activities * We'd like you to have worked in a field-based multi-site, maintenance position before * Full UK driving license * Strong communication and relationship management skills * Be passionate about delivering a first-class service whatever the challenges * Have personal values that resonate with ours Air Conditioning Engineer Package: * Salary: up to £43,000 * Door-to-door travel pay * 29 days holiday, plus a day off for your work anniversary! * Company van and fuel card * 1 x paid volunteering day per year * Holiday buy and sell * Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption pay * We’ll provide a tablet as standard, as well as a “bring your own device” policy so we'll contribute to the cost of your using your personal mobile phone * Extensive discounts platform
