Construction Solicitor

This is an exciting opportunity for a junior to mid Construction Associate to join an international law firm in the firm’s London office. Our client is an international law firm with offices across the UK, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The firm is a full service law firm with established and strong reputation in a variety of sectors, including art, private wealth, real estate and construction and technology. The firm’s construction practice provides a broad range of construction law solutions, advising private and public institutions, property owners, developers, funders, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and construction/design consultants. The department handles client’s projects from the outset, working with clients to shape their procurement, drafting all types of domestic and international construction documentation and ancillary documents including collateral warranties, parent company guarantees and performance bonds. The ideal candidate will have experience working for a large firm with an established construction team, a good working knowledge of the most popular standard forms of construction contracts and disputes relating to payment issues, change, defects, termination and professional negligence.
