We have a new vacancy for a permanent part-time HR Co-Ordinator to work for a large technology company based in Godmanchester. The role will be approximately 22 hours per week across 3, 4, or 5 days and they can be flexible with these hours within reason. The salary range for this role is a Full Time Equivalent (FTE) £30,000 - £32,000. The salary will be prorated based on working hours. This role has potential to be worked on a hybrid basis but does require being in the office fully in the first few months and then any home working arrangements can be agreed on a discretionary basis. JOB PURPOSE To provide an effective, efficient, confidential and professional administrative service, together with generalist HR support across all areas of the Human Resources (HR) function. MAIN DUTIES • To co-ordinate recruitment activity, working closely with the Principal HR Advisor, including: • To manage the HR database, ensuring records are kept up to date at any point in time (‘same day transactions’). •Raising appropriate authorisation for employment contracts and tracking return of signed documentation, proactively flagging in advance of contract expiry. • To draft documentation, including authorisation forms, letters, announcements etc, relating to leavers, promotions, salary increases, changes to terms and conditions etc for the review of the Principal HR Advisor. • To prepare accurate and up to date monthly payroll submission for approval by the Principal HR Advisor • To ensure that visa administration is managed appropriately and in line with legal requirements • Assist the Principal HR Advisor with the administration of international secondments as required. • To prepare accurate and up to date headcount reports and organisation charts • To administer and improve all HR filing systems including electronic personal files, recruitment files, training information and general departmental filing KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED • Strong experience in an administrative role, ideally gained within a HR function in a fast paced hi-tech or research organisation. • Experience of working in a customer service-oriented department. • Clear and confident verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels. • Excellent written communication skills with a demonstrable ability to show clarity of message. • Previous experience of managing a Human Resources Information System.
