Qualified Social Worker - Deputy Team Manager UASC

Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker? Do you have experience as a Deputy Team Manager in Safeguarding/Permanence teams? Yes? Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Liverpool City Council's Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children's team as a Deputy Manager. This is a full time role, offering £44 per hour. Must be experienced in promoting stable placements and implement positive long-term change and improvements, supporting with clear pathway planning Will support a high-performance culture within the team, with consistent good practice across the team. Will actively support the team manager in decision making, chairing meetings and actively working in partnership with partners/multi-agencies, particularly Housing, Health and Education, to be able to advocate for our young people to secure the access to the services that they need. Will support all recruitment, induction, training and effective supervision of all team members, championing professional career development. Will be a Practice Educator.
