We are currently looking for a Service Transition Manager in Staffordshire!
As a Service Transition Manager, you will lead the smooth handover of services from project delivery into live operations, ensuring clear communication, risk management, and operational readiness across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transition Planning: Create and manage detailed plans covering timelines, activities, and resources.
- Risk Management: Identify risks, collaborate with Operations teams, and implement mitigations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ensure transparent updates and issue resolution between Delivery, Operations, and Senior Management.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards and adherence to policies throughout the transition process.
- Documentation: Oversee and maintain key documents such as transition plans and knowledge base articles.
- Training: Lead knowledge management and training to prepare teams for new services.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements for more efficient service transitions.
- Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and report progress to stakeholders.
- ITIL Support: Assist with ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing service transitions in IT environments.
- Strong ITIL knowledge (V4 Managing Professional or V3 Service Transition).
- SC clearance (or willingness to undergo), with potential for DV clearance.
- Strong multitasking, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
