Stores Person

About the Role: Our well established Bournemouth based client are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Stores Person to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient management of inventory, ensuring that stores are well-organised, safe, and fully stocked. You will play a key role in the smooth running of operations by maintaining accurate stock levels and supporting the team with various logistical tasks. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and maintain stock levels, including receiving, checking, and storing goods. * Prepare and distribute materials as required by various departments. * Maintain accurate records of stock movements using our inventory management system. * Conduct regular stock takes and audits to ensure accuracy. * Ensure that all storage areas are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with Health & Safety regulations. * Collaborate with the procurement team to place orders for replenishment. * Safely operate machinery and vehicles as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.). * Support the implementation of new processes and systems to improve efficiency. * Deliver goods to other sites or customers as required. Essential Requirements: * Experience: Proven experience in a stores or warehouse role. * Skills: * Excellent literacy and numeracy skills. * Strong IT skills, with proficiency in using inventory management software. * Sound knowledge of Health & Safety at work within a stores environment. * Physically fit due to nature of the role, Moving & handling will be required * Valid driving licence essential On Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * A supportive and dynamic working environment
