Job Description: Facade Contracts Manager Position: Facade Contracts Manager Location: Hampshire Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience) Experience: 5+ Years in Roofing or Envelope Cladding Availability: Immediate Start Preferred Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Facade Contracts Manager to oversee and manage facade and envelope cladding projects, primarily along the South Coast. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a professional with a strong background in the roofing or facade industry, combined with excellent contract management and project management skills. Key Responsibilities: * Contract Management: * Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts from tender to completion. * Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, manage contract variations, and handle claims and disputes effectively. * Collaborate with legal teams to ensure all contracts are legally sound and mitigate any potential risks. * Project Management: * Lead and manage multiple facade and envelope cladding projects concurrently. * Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. * Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. * Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. * Communication & Interpersonal Skills: * Act as the primary point of contact between clients, stakeholders, and the project team. * Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. * Communicate project progress and any issues to senior management. * Technical Proficiency: * Utilize industry-specific knowledge to interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Ensure that all construction activities meet regulatory and quality standards. * Keep abreast of the latest industry developments and technologies. Requirements: * Minimum 5 years of experience in roofing or envelope cladding, with a strong understanding of facade systems. * Proven track record in managing large-scale construction contracts. * Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. * In-depth knowledge of contract law, risk management, and industry regulations. * Financially astute with a solid understanding of project budgeting and cost control. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. * Flexibility to travel to project sites across the South Coast as required.
