A quickly expanding company on the outskirts of Woodbridge, Suffolk are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join their team.
This is a permanent position which is looking to pay between 35,000 - 45,000 per annum (depending upon experience).
This business specialises in the maintenance, repair and installation of pump sets.
Overview:
As a Field Service Engineer you will be required to perform on-site repairs, visit sites to assist with breakdowns and service pump sets across East Anglia and beyond. Some installation tasks will also be involved to ensure that the equipment is functioning correctly.
What does the job involve?
- Onsite repairs, breakdowns and servicing pump sets and some installation work
- To attend calls for clients if machinery has broken down, diagnosing and resolving any issues that have occurred on-site
- Maintaining accurate records of paperwork for all the work that has been carried out
- Communicate effectively with clients whilst making sure that all work is completed in line with compliance & safety regulations
Candidate requirements:
- NVQ/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Must have mechanical experience (moving parts, bearings etc)
- Will hold a full UK Driving Licence
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Will be able to read from technical drawings
- Have the ability to be able to diagnose and repair complex equipment issues
