Job Title: Freelance Senior Site Manager – Commercial Fit Out Location: Birmingham Rate: £350 per day CIS Project Duration: 8 weeks Start Date: Thursday, 14th November 2024 About the Company: Our client is a leading CAT A & B Fit Out Contractor known for their high standards and dedication to client satisfaction. Due to strong, ongoing client relationships, they have secured a new CAT B commercial fit out project in Birmingham and are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee this project from start to finish. Role Overview: We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Freelance Senior Site Manager who can take charge of daily site operations and ensure smooth project delivery. The role involves managing the day-to-day requirements, liaising directly with clients, and ensuring that the project runs on schedule and to specification. Responsibilities: * Oversee all aspects of the site’s day-to-day operations for an 8-week commercial fit out project. * Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members, acting as the main point of contact on site. * Monitor and manage the project schedule, ensuring deadlines are met and the quality of work remains high. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site. * Complete daily site reports, including updates on progress, safety, and any issues that arise. Requirements: * Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme). * Level 3 First Aid Certification. * Fire Marshall Certification. * Proven experience as the lead site manager on commercial fit out projects, ideally CAT B. * Strong client-facing skills with the ability to represent the company professionally. * Ability to manage and motivate site staff and subcontractors.
