Project Director

A fantastic opportunity to join a Water sector specialist who is currently at ECI/Design stage on a £70 million new project near St Austell. My client, a national contractor with a company turnover of c£200 million, requires a Project Director to be responsible for the overall direct, coordination, implementation and execution of the project. Working in a regulated environment, my client can offer stability of work until 2030 at least. As Project Director you will: * Ensure that safety and delivery quality standards are promoted to direct and subcontract workforce * Ensure that the Building Management System (BMS) is implemented throughout all stages of the project from ECI to handover * Build and maintain close working relations with the end client * Review and approve the Project Execution Plan (PEP), as well as monitor and control the delivery of the project * Ensure that Construction Plans, and Method Statements are in place and approved prior to commencement of works * Report all site non-conformities and costs identified Our client requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor with: * Experience of managing high-value multi-disciplinary D&B construction projects, ideally within the Water sector * Degree (or equivalent) qualified in Construction or Engineering related discipline * PMQ (Project Management Qualification) or equivalent * Experience of delivering projects to set targets and motivating multi-disciplinary teams * Risk and opportunity management experience * Experience of NEC and/or IChemE Salary and benefits include: * Salary – disclosed on application * Annual bonus, up to 18% (project performance dependent) * Company car or £6,600 car allowance. * 25 days annual (plus Bank Holidays). * Option to buy a further 5 days annual leave. * Benefits package including Life Assurance, Private Medical Insurance, Pension Scheme etc. If you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact Kelly Evans on (phone number removed).
