Immediate StartDelivery Van Driver (with some warehouse duties)Location - BarkingMonday - Friday06:00-15:00Two Saturdays a month (4hours)£10.97 per hoursSpecific working hours are to be confirmed, but general branch working hours are:Earliest start 06.00 a.m.Latest finish 17.30 p.m.A position has recently become available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. This is a dual role which requires the applicant to perform in either role when required in the Branch.Ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background of Warehouse or Commercial vehicle parts.Responsibilities: Driver: Pack and load products onto vans according to company's specificationsDeliver orders to customers on assigned routesMaintain ongoing communication with route dispatcherUnload goods as per client specificationsReview deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needsObtain delivery confirmations from each customer Warehouse Operative: Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctlyOversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveriesChecking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stockAssist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all timesAssist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment Special requirements: Driving a non-HGV delivery vehicleLifting/carrying/handling goods - maximum weight 25 kgFlexible start times between 0600 and 0830Over 23 due to insurance on vehicleHeld licence for 2 years minimum and UK licenceNo more than 3 pointsPreferable delivery experienceApproximately 20 drops a day (10 then return and 10)Good level of English -Dealing with Scanners and checking stock is correctSupplyLPSOur clients and their customers come from diverse backgrounds and so do we.
