This is an exciting opportunity to join a large food manufacturer as part of a well structured sales team delivering to current customers as well as developing new sales calls.
The role requires working as a van sales representative based from the companies location in Derry/ Londonderry but with scope to use own initiative and strong influencing skills to sell the companies range of food products. It requires a person with strong interpersonal and communications skills to maintain relationships with current customers and develop relationships with new customers.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Proven track record working as a van sales representative
- Achieve agreed sales targets and customer call rates consistent with the run schedule.
- Present, promote and sell current range of products and introduce new lines to customers on an ongoing basis
- Expedite the resolution of customers problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction .
- Maintain full stock control of vehicle & depot.
- Report customers needs, competitors activities and potential new products to the Sales Manager

Qualification and experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales
- Minimum full clean B driving licence
- Previous experience in use of handheld sales devices.
Salary in the range of £25 000 to £28 000 depending on experience.
This is a full time permanent position with an immediate start for the right candidate.
