Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer (Nights) Inspire Resourcing Ltd are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work for this highly reputable engineering company whose head office is located in the heart of Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for those with multi-skilled engineering experience who want to become a Maintenance Engineer or for those who already have experience of being a Maintenance Engineer. This role is based on a permanent night shift Monday to Friday – Training will be conducted on a day shift prior to moving onto nights. Duties to include: - * Working on a permanent night shift as lead maintenance engineer. * Carry out planned maintenance on all machinery across site including mechanical and electrical repairs and refurbishments. * Respond to ad-hoc breakdowns. * Ensure all equipment is regularly inspected and tested for safe running of the site. * Working alongside the production team as required. * Greet and supervise visitors/contractors as required. To apply for the role of Maintenance Engineer you will ideally: * Highly skilled and experienced in electrical and mechanical engineering. * Previous experience working in an engineering environment would be beneficial. * Experience working on motors, drives, gears and electrical drawings. * Self-motivated and proactive in their work. * Experience keeping records of work carried out, equipment used. Pay rate - £23 per hour + annual bonus. Working hours – Monday to Friday. Location – Chesterfield. This role is offered on a permanent basis.
