FTTx Site Supervisor (civils) - outside IR35 UK Based, Project Area Cornwall, 90% travel to siteCar included for the transport to site (inclusive of rate)Initial 6-month contractJob Role:The FTTx Site Supervisor reports into the Rollout PM/Construction Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all field activities (Civils) are carried out in accordance with agreed designs, working practices in line with all necessary Health and Safety requirements and to the necessary quality.Key Tasks:Ensure daily progress tracking with Build Partner including the updates on the relevant tools (e.g. RoT/WF). Approve / Reject works completed by Build Partner on the relevant toolsEnsure all As-Built documentation and updates are timely provided by the Build Partners. Review and accept or reject As-Built submissionsConducts onsite quality, H&S and risk assessments. Identify any issues and take necessary corrective actionsTrack material usage based on site BOM. Ensure that the Build Partner reports in relevant tools the actual usage, shortages/damaged/lost material, excess material carried over to other sites or returned to Nokia warehouse. Ensure the Build Partner handling of waste material as per the existing and applicable legislationRequirements: Full UK Driving License Previous supervisory experience on large UK FTTx projectsSolid understanding of the SROF / HAUC regulationsQualifications:SA001 Safety OverheadSA002 Safety UndergroundSSSTS / SMSTSKnowledge and experience of H&S practices for traffic management, excavations and underground asset avoidance.
