Special Situations - Investment Associate

A market-leading special situations investor is looking to hire an Investment Associate to be based in their London office.

With approximately $5billion of discretionary capital under management, this client focus on providing asset-backed capital solutions to small/mid-cap businesses. Investments are across the full capital structure, with a focus on non-core / out-of-favour asset classes.

Within this position, you will focus on UK and Irish investments. Ideally, we are hoping for 2-4 years' of Credit / Special Situations Investment or Investment Banking experience, preferably from Real Estate, FIG or Leveraged Finance teams.

Responsibilities:

• Due diligence and wider analysis on potential investments
• Sourcing and identifying investment opportunities as well as relationships
• Market research and analysis to support investment thesis
• Collaborating with the wider investment team
• Monitoring the investment portfolio, produce analysis and support other parties in delivering returns.
