Morgan Hunt is delighted to be supporting a client in their search for an experienced Facilities Manager based in Glasgow. Job Role: The successful candidate will be a technically proficient individual who can demonstrate an excellent analytical mind, logical thinker with a structured approach to work. Relevant trade background essential together with the ability to plan and manage workloads to meet deadlines. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and maintenance software is a must; similarly, experience in Facilities Management and Project Management. Experience within the healthcare sector is highly advantageous along with a strong knowledge of Building Regulations, Planning, and CDM. Responsibilities: (includes but not limited to) Oversee responsive, planned, and cyclical repairs, maintenance, and minor refurbishments in line with standard specifications, policy, and processes. Build a network of skilled trades across locations to handle routine, planned, and emergency maintenance needs. Provide technical support and guidance on property, statutory, budgetary, policy matters, and central repairs & maintenance systems to colleagues and stakeholders. Ensure all compliance, lease, legal, and health & safety obligations are met within the terms of the maintenance contract. Be hands-on when necessary to troubleshoot and resolve key maintenance issues. Achieve best value, quality standards, and budget goals.
