SEND Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children or young adults with additional needs, this could include Autism, Learning Difficulties, Emotional, Sensory or Communication Needs. Role SEND Teaching Assistant at special needs high school in the Salford area. Times - Monday to Friday 8:15am-3:15pm. Contract - Start ASAP, full time, possible temporary to permanent for right person. Pay - Up to £90/day for first 12 weeks Equal pay to what you would receive on contract from 13th week onwards. The School & Pupils Special Needs high school in Salford, All students have an EHCP for Autism, SEMH & Learning, Communication or Sensory needs. Requirements Positive disposition with a teamwork nature. Able to adapt approach to meet the differing needs of each student in your class. Students are grouped by similar needs and levels rather than by age. Manage challenging behaviour and emotions. Working collaboratively with other Teaching Assistants, management, parents and outside agencies. Must promote a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment. Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable). Minimum of two professional references checks. Provide a CV with full education & work. Have the legal right to work in the UK.
