About the role: We're on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in September 2024. As an HLTA, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our teachers and enhancing the learning experience for our students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a full-time, long-term position that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners. You'll be stepping into a dynamic role that requires creativity, initiative, and a deep understanding of the primary curriculum. Application Requirements:• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.• Proven experience working within a primary school setting.• A solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum.• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.• A proactive approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities:• Plan and deliver engaging lessons and learning activities for groups of students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.• Support classroom teachers in assessing student progress and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.• Lead small group interventions to boost student achievement in core subjects like Maths and English.• Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources to create a stimulating environment.• Provide one-on-one support for students with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum and succeed in their learning goals.
