Junior Application Support EngineerBelow covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.Synchro is working closely with a large and well stablished organisation to recruit a Junior Application Support Engineer to join their existing IT team.This role is perfectly suited to a recent graduate, or an Engineer with 1-2 years of commercial experience. As a Junior Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of technical support and troubleshooting across systems and applications that this organisation utilises. You’ll work closely with internal teams to resolve application issues, ensure smooth operation of systems, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will provide technical support for internal users across software applications and IT systems, as well as diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in an accurate and timely manner. Where necessary, you will escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or development teams when necessary. Ideally you will be familiar with ERP software. Any experience of MS Dynamics would be highly beneficial, although not essential. You will also document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and best practices for future reference as well as provide training and support to users on application functionalities.This role is based at the organisations offices in the East Midlands. Hybrid working is on offer here with 3-4 days in the office and 2-3 days working remotely. Required skills & Experience1-2 years of previous commercial experience in a similar, application or software support roleFamiliar with supporting ERP or similar software applications. Any experience of MS Dynamics would be highly beneficial, although not essential.An understanding of Data and working with data tools such as Tableau and / or Power BI. Exemplary communication skills and be comfortable engaging with colleagues and teams at all levels of technical and seniority levels.
