Urgently looking to recruit a Groundworks Site Supervisor for a permanent role in the Northwest / Yorkshire region, for a renowned main contractor. Here's a summary of the key points:
Position Overview:
- Job Title: Groundworks Site Supervisor
- Location: Northwest/ Yorkshire
- Salary: £48,000 -£50,000 per annum(£24 per hour PAYE)
- Company: Main contractor with a 30-year trading history, specialising in new build care homes with a turnover exceeding £100 million.
Benefits:
- Bonus: Company bonus paid 6 monthly (June and December) usually a few grand
- Earnings:Opportunity to increase earningsworking over 40 hours
- Annual Leave: 22 days plus bank holidays
- Salary Review:Yearly salary review

Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing groundworks gangs working on new build care homes.
- Work includes car parks, kerbing, drainage, flagging, utilities etc
- Ability to read technical drawings andwork totight tolerances.
- Collaborating with the Site Manager and attending management meetings.
- Ensure health and safety policies are followed and lead by example
- Ensure quality is to the right standard and mentor the team
- This is a working managers role with a rough split of 70% leading the team and 30% management
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience asa groundworker managing a team.
- Education: CSCSskilled card, SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
- Skills: Proficient with all aspects of groundworks including setting out and working to line and level
- License: Full UK driving license.
