Role Introduction The Network Presales Principal Solution Architect supports sales productivity and deal flow by providing solution accountability, helping present and architect IT Outsourcing and IT Managed Services solutions in support of the sales process, and provide “solution close” for ITO opportunities and also SME for Network Solutions. The Presales Principal Solution Architect collaborates with sales, SMEs, service delivery and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical and service solutions which: Match prospect requirements; Are within the scope of what we want to sell; Are understood and can be delivered by us Are appropriately understood and supported by key customer decision-makers. What You Will Do Assisting with the qualification of opportunities Attending calls or meetings with customers and prospects to determine technical and business requirements, and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution Be accountable for the solution creation, both technologically and service. Translating customer and prospect requirements into solutions Working with the Sales team to develop solutions and answering technical and service questions from customers and prospects. Assisting with the production of customer-facing proposal documentation Creating cost models to underpin commercials propositions Working with other members of the team on process improvement and improving quality Supporting the Sales Enablement functions in preparing a library of sales collateral and materials for use by field-based Pre-Sales and Sales teams Assist with framework accreditations the company wishes to achieve Extending your training to become Subject Matter Expert in an agreed area pertinent to services, e.g. Public Cloud, M365 etc. What You Will Have A willingness to achieve in-depth knowledge and understanding of Network Solutions & IT managed services Be self-motivated, tenacious, disciplined, enthusiastic and resilient Have outstanding networking, presentation and communication skills, written and oral Have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to devise and implement strategies beneficial to our clients Have effective time management skills Understanding of IT operations, ITIL, SIAM and end user service management measures Understanding of traditional hosting technologies and approaches (dedicated hosting, co-location, private cloud) strong understanding of IT outsourcing Awareness of Microsoft O365 and Azure Ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure
