Your new role as a Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Engineer will involve providing equipment, tooling, material specifications, manufacturing processes, quality inspection documents, and time standards needed to accurately and safely manufacture and assemble products. You will support projects such as capital improvements and New Product Introduction, and research and develop new manufacturing processes, tooling, and machinery with a focus on automation and improving ergonomics. Your responsibilities will include identifying and implementing solutions to eliminate non-value activities in manufacturing processes, providing project management and technical oversight to significant automation investments, and contributing to the Manufacturing Transformation Program.
What you'll need to succeed
What you'll need to succeed is a Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or an Associate's degree/HND, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing. Equivalent relevant experience may also be considered. You should have experience in new line design and production flow, leadership skills to drive continuous improvement, and knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and problem-solving. Analytical ability to resolve minor problems and implement permanent corrective actions, along with excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills, are essential. Proactivity and initiative are highly valued.
