Role:


The Project Manager is responsible for careful planning, coordination, and execution of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within the planned resources/budget, and meet the agreed scope.

This role includes overseeing all project aspects, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and managing resources effectively. A key element of the role is maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and ensuring that the project aligns with their expectations. The Project Manager also adheres to Agile and Scrum principles to drive projects to successful completion while maintaining operational smoothness.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with stakeholders to comprehend and prioritize their needs, ensuring their expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Planning: Develop and oversee detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder needs, and resource availability.
  • Timeline and Milestone Management: Ensure the punctual execution and delivery of project tasks and milestones, adjusting plans dynamically to meet changing circumstances.
  • Follow-up on Milestones: Regularly track and follow up on project milestones to ensure timely completion and alignment with the overall project plan.
  • Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring optimal use and balance.
  • Scope Management: Manage and adapt to changes in project scope, mitigating any impact on deliverables, timelines, or resource allocation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project performance using KPIs to ensure the project remains aligned with goals and delivery timelines.
  • Risk Management: Identify and proactively mitigate risks to safeguard project deliverables and ensure smooth progression.
  • Agile/Scrum Facilitation: Conduct Agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning) and ensure they add value to the team and project.
  • Agile Coaching: Guide and coach teams on consistent and effective application of Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Backlog Management: Work closely with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity and priority alignment with project goals.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a transparent and collaborative environment that encourages open communication, cross-functional teamwork, and a shared sense of accountability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead retrospectives and follow through on implementing action items to drive team efficiency and improve processes.
  • Adherence to Best Practices: Ensure the application of best practices throughout the project lifecycle, including Development, Testing, Code Reviews, Test Plan Reviews, and Kick-off Meetings.
  • Task Delegation: Assign tasks based on team members' strengths and the specific needs of the project, ensuring a balanced workload and efficient delivery.


Person Specifications:


  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the IT/software development industry, with a proven track record of managing projects in Agile environments.
  • Project and People Management: Demonstrated ability to manage both projects and teams effectively, ensuring collaboration and optimal performance.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to clearly articulate project goals, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and teams.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Gantt charts). Experience with Jira-Advanced Roadmap is a plus.
  • Domain Expertise: Experience in the online casino or iGaming industry is a big plus.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: Confidence in making effective decisions and solving problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage changing project requirements, timelines, and resources with a flexible and proactive approach.
  • Technical Background: Experience as a Developer or QA is a strong advantage. Familiarity with web technologies, software development processes, and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is also beneficial.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish productive, positive relationships with stakeholders, partners, and remote offices.
  • Attitude: A “can do” mindset, with a proactive approach to challenges, striving for solutions that align with long-term project goals.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business) or equivalent work experience.
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in English is required.
