Energy Trading Analytics Manager

Job DescriptionLeading European Energy Trading is now seeking an experienced Senior Trading Analyst to lead their Trading Analytics team. You should have significant energy trading experience ideally covering the power, renewable and gas trading markets.This is a senior level Trading Analysis role which will work closely with traders to develop models and tools for pricing and risk management across energy trading markets. This will included market fundamentals and trading strategies.The role will work closely with traders to understand trading strategies and risk profiles as well as desk P&L. and be the interface between the analytics function of the trading desks and the commercial teams. It will also work closely with risk and forecasting teamsTo be considered for this role you will need:Deep experience of the energy trading markets in trading analysis roles.This will include being able to analyse large amounts of data and provide accurate trading analysis.Strong Quantitative skills are also required including time series analysis, stochastic modelling and machine learning techniques.As well as Excel and VBA you should also have strong Python skills and ideally SQL skills.You lead the analytics team and so previous management experience is also important to lead and development team members.This is an excellent role with high earning potential and trading related bonus.
