Class 1 Container Driver

Our client is looking for a HGV Class 1 Container Driver to join their team in Walsall! Our client is a leading container freight transport company, providing nationwide logistic solutions and are experts in road based container transport. Location: Walsall Salary: £13.00 an hour Hours: Monday – Friday, Day Shifts ( start times vary between 4am - 6am - until 8pm) Key Responsibilities: * Safely operate an HGV Class Container 1 vehicle to deliver to various locations. * Ensure timely and efficient deliveries, maintaining the highest standards of service. * Adhere to all safety protocols and driving regulations. * Complete all necessary delivery paperwork and logbooks accurately. * Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure your truck is roadworthy and report any issues. Requirements: * Valid HGV Class 1 license with relevant driving experience. * HGV Class 1 Driver tramper (Containers)Valid HGV Class 1 licence for a minimum of 2 years. * Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations. * Experience with cold storage deliveries is preferred. * Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively. * Excellent communication and customer service skills
