Salary: £28,263 (FTE) (£16,958 - 0.6 FTE)

Do you have the energy and enthusiasm to work together with Devons people and rural communities to create positive change? You will deliver a portfolio of projects, including frontline work with communities. We are currently recruiting for a rural communitybased Community Development Officer to work within our Community Resilience and Community Buildings Teams.
This role offers flexibility with contract hours ranging from 0.6 FTE (3 days per week) to 1.0 FTE (full-time), depending on candidate preferences. We offer a vibrant team environment, competitive salary, generous pension, and 25 days paid holiday, pro-rata for part time posts, plus Bank Holidays.
Our Community Development Officers are adaptable and innovative, with a can do attitude. You will need to be:
- passionate about asset-based community development
- experienced in place-based community engagement
- brilliant at communicating, facilitating meetings & training events
- a great organiser and self-starter
- a capable IT user
You will play a key role in supporting us to deliver our vision of communities shaping their own futures.
