Senior Legal Counsel, Employment - TMT

Heriot Brown is partnering with a listed TMT business seeking a Senior Employment Lawyer to join their UK Legal team.

This is an exciting opportunity, reporting to the Legal Director, where you'll working with the business on all aspects of Employment law.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead the resolution of employment disputes and settlement agreements, and act as a liaison with external legal counsel during proceedings.
• Provide strategic legal advice to HR and the business, reviewing policies and ensuring compliance with new legislation.
• Offer expertise in works council matters and handle complex employment issues, including restructures, TUPE, and outsourcing agreements.
• Draft, negotiate, and review employment-related contracts and broader commercial agreements, including contingent labour contracts.
• Minimise legal risks for the company and assist with implementing necessary legal amendments in policies and procedures.

Role Requirements:

• 6-8 PQE, gained from either private practice or working in house
• UK Employment Law experience
• Open to travelling!
