About You
We are looking for a senior garment technologist with experience on casuals, particularly Knit and Demin, to join our growing Tech team at Nobody’s Child. The job role will be to provide support the Tech team whilst also working alongside the wider team and key external partners.
Day to day - your responsibilities will include:
- lead fit sessions with Design and Buying Team to ensure product meets the required quality standard. This will be with a senior tech, however you'll also be able to lead a fit solo.
- Liasing with factories and development teams to improve fit and quality. Approving pre-production samples straight to production will be key.
- Assessing construction and quality of the product.
- Understanding Test reports and bring solutions to resolve any quality issues.
- Consistently review make and quality standards and identify areas where improvement can be made.
- Demonstrating a good understanding of product grading
Ideally you will have:
- A clear understanding of different knits / yarns
- Any experience working on the interlink platform would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Sustainability and Certifications
- Be able to manage the workload and prioritise accordingly in a very fast paced environment
