Quality Coordinator Location: Belfast Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated Quality Coordinator to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining our Quality Management System and Health & Safety system, ensuring our products meet both company and customer standards throughout the manufacturing process. Day-to-day of the role: Monitor ongoing product quality through the production process, conducting random quality checks. Handle the final release of pharmaceutical products. Inspect incoming products from suppliers. Operate the EyeC Proofiler system as required. Conduct internal audits, including process, housekeeping, and glass/brittle plastic checks. Manage customer-specific approvals and testing as needed. Coordinate containment actions related to non-conformances, such as processing customer returns, rework, inspection, and quarantined products. Train new Quality Inspectors. Maintain validation, change control, training, and calibration records. Assist in CAPA Management, including customer complaints, and liaise with internal departments to resolve non-conformances and promote effective corrective measures. Support the Quality Manager in coordinating the review, authorisation, and re-issue of documents, communicating updates, and managing document obsolescence. Handle supplier data management. Generate weekly and monthly OTIF reports. Update product specifications as necessary. Participate in quality improvement projects and Health & Safety committee activities, including risk assessments and safe working practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in Quality Management Systems. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team. Practical knowledge of health & safety. Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative. Desirable: Qualification in Quality and/or Engineering. Desirable: Working knowledge of the Q-Pulse system. Flexible approach to working hours. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
