Electronics Engineer Permanent role: Up to £50,000 salary Location: Chatham, Kent (opportunity for hybrid working) Benefits: Bonus scheme, 26 days holiday (+bank hols) 10% pension contribution, flexible start/finish times and opportunity to progress within the business!   We are currently seeking a Electronics Engineer to join our client in their Design & Product Support teams. My client operate in the Energy & Power industries, delivering sophisticated data acquisition and metering solutions. They’re looking for an Electronics Engineer based near Chatham (with hybrid working). You must have previous experience in a similar role, also providing training to internal and external Field teams and Design Engineers on the companies product range. Electronics Engineer Experience & Duties Required: Good understanding of electronic hardware and interfacing (RS232, RS485, microprocessors etc) Good understanding of Networking products and systems (configuring switches, VLANs etc) with hands- on experience Daily interaction with internal and external clients to resolve problems ranging from simple to complex network, protocol, interfacing and data issues Assisting with configuring systems to ensure compliance to specifications (This will mostly be in the workshop but occasional site visits will be necessary so a full UK driving license is essential) Occasionally conducting Factory Acceptance testing with customers present Fault finding on systems to determine hardware/configuration issues  Essential Electronics Engineer Requirements: A degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or similar discipline Full UK driving license Excellent Written & Spoken English skills.  Desirable Requirements: Strong capabilities with PC applications (standard windows and manufacturer specific) - Knowledge of the principles of Cyber Security would be advantageous.
