CNC Miller

We are looking for a CNC Milling setter/operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team in South Woodham Ferrers. Key responsibilities and duties: Using various measuring equipment (Verniers / Micrometers / Height gauge / Shadowgraph etc.) to ensure all parts conform to customer standards. Setting a variety of mills, both 3 and 5 axis. Setting and proving out new programs and providing feedback to the programmer. Deburring work in cycle where possible. Read and understand engineering drawings. Maintaining general cleanliness and housekeeping standards. Ensure all work is completed in line with the production plan. The ideal candidate must have: 5 years+ Milling experience. The ability to carry out first off, self-inspection and final inspection. Experience machining a wide range of materials. The ability to work and communicate within a team Experience setting 5 axis mills (desirable) Experience with Heidenhain controls (desirable) Benefits: 25 days holiday PLUS bank holidays.
