B1.2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer:

• Annual Salary: £44,505.00
• Location: Glasgow Airport
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Mandatory: Been a UK resident for the past 5 years minimum - eligibility for SC Clearance

Day-to-day of the role:

• Coordinate all CAA Part 145 paperwork to ensure compliance and accurate documentation.
• Oversee the health and safety of all equipment, reporting any faults and diagnostic problems promptly.
• Provide a Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) signature when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after defect rectification or scheduled maintenance.
• Work closely colleagues, adopting a ‘Whole Force’ approach to activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in aircraft inspections, repair, and maintenance.
• A sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.
• Familiarity with line support tasks and working in a Part 145 environment.
• Type Rating on Grob 115E aircraft and Lycoming 360 engines.
• Recognised SHEQ Qualification and working knowledge of safety management systems (SMS).
• EASA/CAA Part 66, B1.2 license.
• Clean driving licence.
• Ability to achieve and maintain SC Clearance.
