Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver required for an ongoing position with our well-established client in the Rugby. This particular company are well known locally, and are a great company to work. LTD DRIVERS The Role: LTD DRIVERS The Class 1 Driver will be required to work Monday to Friday. The company has a lot of work within the construction industry and carry out deliveries on a HGV1 Flat Bed. With this being deliveries to building sites, the cargo can vary from sheets of metal to a crane or a digger. The straps can vary from 8-18 to the driver MUST be comfortable and confident driving a flat bed and with strapping loads. The Class 1 Driver will require: Class 1 / CAT C+E entitlement on their licence FLAT BED EXPERIENCE - Ideally 2 years Ratchet and Strap experience Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest Hours & Pay: The start time will between 05:00 - 07:00 and the HGV Class 1 Driver will work upwards of 55 hours over a 5 day period - Monday to Friday. The Class 1 Driver hourly rate for this role is: Up to £17.00 - £18.00 ph - Monday to Friday
