Night Senior Care Assistant - Full Time (44 Hours per Week) Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Salary: £12.94 per hour Contract: 44 hours per week, Night Shifts - 8pm to 8am

We are looking for a dedicated Night Senior Care Assistant to join our team at our welcoming residential care home in Newcastle upon Tyne, specialising in elderly care and dementia. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a night care team and provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring they receive the support and respect they deserve.

Lead and supervise the night care team, ensuring the smooth running of the home during night shifts Provide personal care and support with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity Administer medication and monitor residents' health in accordance with individual care plans Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and care records Support and mentor junior care staff, fostering a collaborative team environment Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionalsWhat We're Looking For:

Experience as a Care Assistant with strong knowledge of elderly care Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role is preferred NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) Training in Medication Administration Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills Ability to lead a team and work independently on night shifts A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred careIf you're passionate about making a difference in elderly care and looking to take on a senior role with greater responsibility, we'd love to hear from you!
