Role: NPD Manager
Location: West Yorkshire (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £50,000
Lavandi Talent is currently working with a fantastic business within the Beauty and Personal Care Industry who are currently looking for a skilled and experienced NPD Manager to join their team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple NPD projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and meeting all project specifications. Oversee the documentation process for all stages of development, ensuring claims are substantiated and regulatory requirements are met.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams as well as external suppliers. Work together to align on costs, develop products and packaging to specifications, and meet critical project milestones.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to gather and analyse insights on competitors' activities, pricing, product offerings, and market trends.
- Plan and conduct consumer research and product testing to validate new product development.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and visual content to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified to degree level in Chemistry, Materials Science, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG, Cosmetics, Nutrition, or Medical Device product development.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills, with a strong ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in writing and interpreting technical documents.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
